October 14-21, 2017 I’m headed with a team to Haiti!
Our team (mostly connected with Grace Community Church) is composed of approximately 15-20 healthcare professionals and non-healthcare professionals and we are partnering with World Wide Village to serve the communities of Luly and Williamson, Haiti. We will hold daily clinics throughout the community where our goal is to address the spiritual, emotional, and physical health of our patients through medical teams and discipleship teams.
Although I love to travel, I have never been to Central or South America. I’ve been told Haiti can be an incredibly hard, but incredibly rewarding place to serve. With this in mind, I’ve been in prayer about participating in this trip and feel it is a good opportunity to stretch myself mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and medically.
I’ll be posting more about Haiti in the upcoming weeks, but for now I’ll conclude this post with sharing ways in which can partner with our team in serving the people of Haiti.
With financial investment:
- Trip expenses are approximately $1700. You can help literally send me (airplane ticket, immunizations/medications for travel, transportation fees in Haiti, food, lodging) to help serve.
